Lodge 44, Lavender Lodge is one of our beautiful Scandinavian wood lodges where you can enjoy Galloway's famous dark skies and abundant wildlife from the comfort of your own balcony, whilst also being located close to the picturesque beach at Sandyhills on the Solway Coast in Dumfries and Galloway. All of our Barend Holiday Lodges guests can enjoy our indoor heated swimming pool and sauna, as well as a free 9-hole round of golf at our great local par 3 Craigieknowes golf course. The space Lodge 44 is one of our most popular superior 3 star lodges, which may have something to do with the beautiful loch view that this property benefits from, which can be easily seen whilst cuddling up on the new sofas. This lodge can accommodate up to 8 people, with 2 double bedrooms and one open plan bedroom which has 4 single beds, meaning that this property would be an excellent choice for a family break. Lodge 44 is also pet friendly so you can pack your furry friend too. Lodge 44 in more detail… GROUND FLOOR Living & Dining Area The large and comfortable living dining area is fully equipped for 8 people with a dining table and sofas, Freeview TV and DVD player. Kitchen A well-equipped kitchen with a gas hob and electric oven, fridge-freezer, dishwasher, microwave, kettle and toaster. A full range of cooking utensils, crockery, glassware and cutlery is provided. A separate large freezer is stored in the hallway cupboard for your convenience. For special occasions, high quality Denby crockery and glassware are available from Reception on request. Double Bedroom One of the two double bedrooms is on the ground floor. Bathroom With electric shower over the bath. Balcony A large balcony with furniture is accessed through doors in the living area and gives a view of the loch. FIRST FLOOR Double Bedroom A double bed with ensuite toilet, wash basin, and shower cubicle. This bedroom is accessed via the third bedroom. Third Bedroom A large room with 4 single beds and patio doors leading to the balcony giving views of Barend Loch and Dalbeattie Forest. OUTSIDE There is parking for two vehicles directly outside the lodge.
