THE DUCK HOUSE is a renovated two-bedroom apartment for 4-5 people. It is about 2-plus flights of stairs below road level. The dining space (bringing the outdoors indoors) enabling guests to dine while enjoying the green hills in a cosy welcoming space. For light sleepers, please use the second room to minimise potential noise from an access road used by the public. Experience and be refreshed with beautiful and meaningful memories, only at The Duck House, ThatNicePlace, Selesa Hillhomes, Buk The space This refurbished unit is located 2.5 flights of stairs below road level but boasts of a beautiful view at the balcony. At the entrance, you will be greeted by a green plant with lovely white stones and cement slabs as you walk into this home. As you enter the premise, your kitchen, though small but sufficient for simple meals is tucked neatly away on your right. As you step in, you will be greeted by reminisce of  small picture frames of "Old Ipoh Town", the hometown of the homeowners' grandmother. Wanting to turn around this old apartment of 20 years, the decision was to keep the charm of old and intertwine it with the essentials of new to make it comfortable for guests. The lovely terrazzo was polished  and the sturdy bathroom tiles and long bath in the master room was kept untouched. The 2 bedrooms with old parquet wooden floors have a total of 4 single beds, and the master bedroom has the 2 beds joined together whilst the second room have the beds separated. The highlight of this home is the common area of living and dining, this is where we bring the outdoors in! The original design of the sliding doors were removed and replaced with mosquito netting, without compromising the view but keeping "our little fying friends" at bay. The natural green views beckons to be the invited into the dining room where one sits, feast your eyes and tummies whilst you chat and connect with one another. There is a small road that faces on of the rooms, there is a potential for some noise, so light sleepers would need to select the second room. Both the bedrooms and living areas has air-conditioners. Other things to note For the convenience of our guests, we provide towels, shower cream and hair shampoo. A hairdryer is also available for guests' use.
