Description
Welcome to Forest Lakes! Our cabin is nestled in the tall pines of the Coconino Forest. Come stay awhile in a cozy two bedrooms + loft cabin with a true cabin feel. Our sleeping arrangements are comfortable with enough room for 8 people. For extra sleeping we have a futon bed in the main living space. The down stairs has a full bath with a shower. Conveniently the loft has an extra half bath. Forest Lakes is spectacular, you will not want to leave! Guest access Guests will have full access to the property. The entire cabin and 1.25 acres of beautiful tall pines. Other things to note In the main room enjoy a movie with a flat screen tv and dvd player. The wifi works well unless there is a storm in which case you will want to watch the storm! With temperatures on average 30* lower than Phoenix in the summer we do not have the need for an air conditioner. Each room has a fan to keep the cabin comfortable and to help the forest breeze to move through the space. The Kitchen is fully stocked. Along with the standard kitchen items you will have access to a waffle maker, toaster, blender, electric skillet, coffee maker and crockpot. The outdoor cooking area includes a propane gas grill and a charcoal grill. As a courtesy we try to have the propane tank full. Depending on the time of year and availability guests may be required to bring their own propane or fill up the tank at a nearby county store. The store is open May-September. If charcoal is preferred it will need to be purchased or brought to the cabin. Our outdoor fireplace is a great way to enjoy the outdoors. Firewood is available to purchase in Payson, Forest Lakes or Heber. During the summer months it is common to have fire restrictions. All guest are responsible for checking fire restrictions before using the fire pit. Please keep the fire attended at all times and use the nearby hose to extinguish the fire 100%.
