The Willows is one of four cottages which form Character Farm Cottages and is situated on our stunning farmland 5 miles to the west of Weymouth and a short distance from the Fleet Lagoon, Chesil beach and stunning Jurassic Coastline. Set on the edge of the tranquil village of Langton Herring with its lovely pub called the Elm Tree, the cottage is perfectly placed for a relaxing and peaceful countryside escape, perfect for couples and single travelers. The space Situated on our working farm The Willows is a delightful, recently renovated one bedroom cottage ideal for couples wanting a peaceful, rural break. A short walk from the cottage across our fields you will see the stunning Chesil Beach, part of Dorset's Jurassic Coastline. Although only having one bedroom the Willows has plenty of space for 2 people. The main living area has a well equipped kitchen space and comfortable sitting area with a sofa and log fire. There is a table to enjoy a meal together and French windows lead out onto a secluded south facing patio with garden furniture to sit and enjoy a drink in the evening. The bedroom can be made up as a double or twin. The bathroom contains a bath with shower attachment. Nearby you will find the Old Stable which has table tennis and a Foosball Table Football game. In addition there is a large collection of novels for you to borrow. There are also laundry facilities. The cottage is surrounded by open fields to explore and for the very energetic you can easily join the Coastal Footpath. The village pub, The Elm Tree is a peaceful 10 min walk away (re-opens 9 July 25). In the next door village Portesham you will find the Kings Arms Pub with a lovely garden/decking area and great food and drink. Our cottages are available for weekly holidays all year and for off-season short breaks. For short breaks we try to stick to a 3 night stay arriving on Fridays or a 4 night arriving Mondays. For weekly breaks we do try to stick to Friday to Friday. The South West Coast Path runs close by and is a must for walkers of all levels. 🐄 Life on the Farm You're staying on a working dairy farm and the cottage is surrounded by our farmland.
