The great room revolves around a spalded maple peninsula extending the granite counter top in kitchen. The tv is enclosed in a wall of ancient barn wood. Air conditioning and radiant floor heat keep comfort available year round. Sonos sound system presents deluxe listening. This house was designed to accommodate the owners to gracefully age in place. The love of the West Virginia artistic lifestyle and heritage is on full display. But equally important is the ease and comfort of modern conveniences . Plenty of privacy nestled in a leafy quiet neighborhood. All space is available except a locked workshop off the carport for owners use. I will quickly respond to inquiries and be available to answer questions. Maple street is the remarkable upper edge of Lewisburg city limits. At one end of the street is the library and at the other are Dorie Miller park and the newly renovated Greenbrier Community school. A ten minute walk brings one to the thriving shopping/eating/festival and performance rich downtown of Lewisburg. Greenbrier Valley airport brings in flights from Chicago and Washington DC. Uber is also available . It’s an easy walk down into town but, exploring the greater Greenbrier Valley a car would be a must. There’s wonderful walks from Maple Mead . Do not use couch for sleeping . It is very difficult to clean and does not have a mattress pad . We provide clean, good tasting water in the fridge from the farm. To further reduce landfill demand we offer recycling of cans, paper and glass.
