Gimsøy in Lofoten

TV channels and wireless WiFi. Host lives next door in own home. The space The house is located on the north side of Gimsøya in Lofoten with a nice view of Vesterålen. To the west, Greenland is the nearest neighbor. The property has perfect sun conditions when Lofoten shows its best side and the midnight sun can be enjoyed unhindered through the small hours. There are many nice hiking options on Gimsøya where the mountain Hoven, approx. 370 m above sea level is best known. The golf course Lofoten Links is only 2 km away from the house and in the summer season the golf course offers many beginner courses. Hov Gård is located three km away. Here you can enjoy horseback riding of different lengths with Icelandic horses. Hov Gård also has a restaurant with all dishes. Gimsøya also has a grocery store where you can buy most things, as well as fuel. Gimsøya is also a nice starting point for other excursions in Lofoten. To the east you will find Svolvær and Henningsvær only half an hour's drive away. Westwards there are many sights and experiences and Moskenes in the far west of mainland Lofoten is only a few hours away by car.
