The space is perfect for one to two families or a small gathering of friends. The home is first and foremost our family's mountain retreat. You will feel right at home. Step into the large recreation space/basement entry for your shoes, skis, bikes, etc. This floor is complete with a washer/dryer, full bath with a claw foot tub, a queen-sized sleeper sofa, ping pong table and bar. On the main floor are two smaller bedrooms with two twin beds each, full bath, spacious living room, dining area and well-equipped open kitchen leading out to the back deck, fire pit, and wraparound porch. Pour yourself a glass of something, make use of the grill, and take in the stars and the quiet from the front swing. One more flight of stairs will take you to the primary bedroom, loft space with extra sleeping area and third full bathroom. Back deck and wraparound porch, charcoal grill, outdoor fire pit, carport, front yard, as well as all indoor amenities. Kitchen is well-stocked with spices and oils, cooking utensils, microwave, refrigerator, gas range and electric oven, dishwasher, coffee maker, toaster and more. Coffee and tea are provided. Close to hiking trails, distilleries, and maple farms. A car is important to get around the area, but there is a daily bus to and from New York City and Kingston. We have tried to make the space as child-friendly as possible, but sophisticated enough that adults will feel right at home. Pack'n'play crib and high chair available. Extra blankets and pillows are stored in closets and loft as needed. The property is also home to black bears, deer, fox, coyote, woodchucks, rabbits and raccoons. The back looks out to a steep mountain side and wooded area where these neighbors are frequently spotted.
