Ample parking. ​ The space In a fab location a short stroll from the beach and tucked away up a dead end lane, the Birdie Box is a dreamy bolt hole. Above an outbuilding and next to a babbling brook you will be cosied up and find it hard to leave. You will have the benefit of the use of our huge garden and can also enjoy a raised deck area with views of the sea situated near our cottage where you can enjoy your sundowners. Alternatively find a quiet spot in our garden and soak up the peace of this forgotten part of South East Cornwall. This property has been designed and furnished to meet all your needs:  ​The downstairs entrance hall is fully tiled with plenty of space for all those holiday extras you may like to bring.  There is also a freezer for your use. The bespoke staircase rises to a landing from which both the bedroom and lounge/kitchen can be accessed. ​Bridals is a clean energy home and the Birdie Box benefits from electricity provided by our PV solar panels.  It has an ultra modern heating and hot water system supplied by an air source heat pump and thermal store.  The flat has been insulated to a very high standard keeping you warm in the winter and cool in the summer.  The flat is light and airy with a general feel of calm. ​ The open plan kitchen/lounge is super cosy with 2 squishy leather sofa, table lamps, downlighters (on a dimmer), TV, DVD player, sound system, and a woodburner to keep you toasty.  We provide a basket of logs for your arrival - should you need anymore we would prefer to supply you (£10 per basket) which we will leave in your hallway.  We like to use well seasoned kiln dried wood which is better for the stove/flue and also for the environment.   The property enjoys a good Broadband service. The kitchen with its view towards Talland Church and the sea is open plan with an integrated fridge, dishwasher, washing machine and microwave.  The electric cooker/hob has a powerful extractor fan.  The kitchen is very well equipped with everything you should need to make this flat your home from home.  There is a breakfast bar with two stools.  ​The bedroom has a very comfortable bed with a goose down duvet and pillows made up with pure cotton bedding.  There are 2 Velux windows with black out blinds to give you a good nights sleep whilst you listen to the running brook outside.  The ensuite shower room has a tiled shower, WC and sink with generous drawers beneath.  Guests can be confident about the cleaning regime in place at the property. The Birdie Box will be cleaned thoroughly between lets, according to Airbnb's enhanced Covid-19 cleaning protocols. We are more than happy to accommodate a child under 2 - we will provide a travel cot and a high chair. We also provide a stairgate for your use. Guest access Parking is provided in the driveway although you will be able to draw your car up to the door to unload/load. There are 2 steps into the apartment hall and then a flight of stairs up to the first floor. There is a good handrail. Other things to note We are a very dog friendly lot - you are more than welcome to bring 1 medium sized dog or 2 small furry friends but we would ask that they are not allowed on the furniture or in the bedroom and are not left in the apartment unsupervised. We would also charge £20 per dog for the additional associated cleaning costs. There is a hose pipe situated very close to the apartment should your furries get muddy paws. We do NOT add on a cleaning charge 😀
