From Lisbon is 50 minutes driving. To Peniche, just take the A8 Norte, and then the IP6 to Peniche. 20 minutes. Other things to note The house is located mid-way to the beautiful villages of Óbidos (Medieval Village), Caldas da Rainha (Old Town and Sunday market) , Batalha and Alcobaça (two big monasteries), Mafra - a pretty little Portuguese town that contains one of Europe’s largest and most extravagant palaces, the Palacio de Mafra and all the west coast line Costa de prata (Silver coast), with the beaches of Peniche, Nazaré Areia Branca and São Martinho do Porto.
