In the heart of the Forêts National Park, large family house with trees and crossed by a stream. 5 charming bedrooms, equipped kitchen, living room with TV, large dining area. The space La Nouvelle Arche's Code of Conduct If you have come this far and have chosen this place for a pleasant stay, it is thanks to everyone's efforts to leave it attractive and pleasant. You will quickly notice that we are not at Center Parcs and that the furniture is not made of recycled pallets. This charter has also been published in order to inform you of the rules and duties of each of the guests, the children remaining under the supervision and responsibility of the parents. General Information • The house and all its outbuildings are non-smoking; please smoke outside and throw your butts in the ashtrays. • To keep the house clean (parquet floors, carpets and burgundy stone on the floor), please take off your shoes and leave your shoes on the outside landings, under the awnings. Please leave the place clean! A vacuum cleaner per floor is available for your use. • The cellar is off limits. • Small smileys are placed on some cupboards, indicating authorized access (green) and private access (red). If there are no keys on the closed doors, there is no need to look for them, and even less the trouble of forcing and breaking the locks... • Please respect the furniture and decoration. I'm not asking you to redo the decor, the tables, beds and other dressers stay in their place. Trivets are available for hot or wet dishes on the tables. Please do not jump on chairs, beds, armchairs and sofas. Markers, paints and coloring pencils are prohibited in the house so as not to make unintentional decorations on beds, walls and other unintended surfaces. • Despite the very festive side of your stays, and without being a killjoy, glitter is prohibited on the property during weddings, birthdays and parties. • Please respect the number of people declared on the rental. You can invite people outside the stay, provided you inform the owner but not backstage of outdoor parties like weddings, or to sleep, wash, make up or other amenities not provided. • Please be mindful of your water consumption: the village collects its water independently from a natural source, which can potentially dry up. • You are autonomous in the house. Remember to buy consumables for your stay such as paper towels, toilet paper, but also vinegar, oil, dishwashing liquid, sponge and other products that you may sorely miss at the right time... Feel free to leave them on site and share them with future guests. • In winter, the house is heated to 19 degrees on the ground floor. Please do not touch the radiator valves so as not to disrupt the heating balance of the place. A contribution to heating costs is required up to €30 per day. • Both stoves and wood stove can only be used by agreement or with the owner. Take care to use them properly. Notify the owner of any problems. Respect the distances of objects and people around the fireplaces. Wooden baskets are on sale for additional heating by the stoves. • Wastewater from the house goes into a septic tank and is spread underground. Please do not use aggressive products such as bleach or other than those provided. For the same reason, only toilet paper should be flushed in the toilet. • Please report any breakage or loss during the stay so as not to put the following guests and ourselves in delicate and very uncomfortable situations... 2. Exterior • The gate and access gates to the property must remain closed to prevent the intrusion of neighboring dogs. • The separation between the land dedicated to farm animals and the garden must remain closed. • For the comfort of all, the courtyard of the gîte allows for a maximum of two cars to be parked. Enter and exit your vehicles respecting the logic of the direction of traffic (traffic signs). • For electric vehicles, charging is possible at a rate of €10 per charge. • Please interact with dogs only in the back of the property and only in the presence of their owner. In addition, they are not allowed to enter the garden and the house. Under no circumstances should they be fed. • Outdoor games and accessories made available will be sheltered in the evening and in bad weather. • The vegetable garden, its crops and the greenhouse remain a private place. Please do not enter. • Interior furniture such as chairs, tables, cushions, intended for "indoor" use, must not leave the house. • During your evenings outdoors, after 10 p.m., respect the neighbors. Loud music and children's screams become annoying. 3. The kitchen • Utensils, dishes and appliances are at your disposal subject to respectful use. Remember to use the drip tray in the oven if necessary so as not to smoke the room. • The kitchen does not have a dishwasher but a user-friendly sink with two trays and two drainers that will delight young and old gathered around a fun activity. • Sort your waste: Glass set aside outside Cardboard, plastic bottles, cans and preserves in the bin of the left drawer under the sink Everything else in the trash can in the right drawer under the sink - Only plant-based waste can be put in the "Compost" bin 4. The bedrooms • Please do not bring or consume food upstairs, babies are not fed on the bedspreads, a chair on the ground floor is provided for their meal. • Remember to close the Velux in the Jules Verne room before you leave the house (the rain and the cats in the neighborhood appreciate your bedding). The blind is handled with care, without forcing. • Access to the attic through the Proust room is prohibited. • For safety reasons, the mezzanine bed in the Train de Nuit room is not usable. 5. Pets Regarding your pets, the cottage only accepts one dog, only with the agreement of the owner, after having made the request. This package is €45 for the stay. A courtyard is specially dedicated to this hosting. No cats are allowed. Finally, you are at home, Enjoy your stay. Guest access The house is fully available to you. Only the cellar and attic are not allowed. Cars will remain outside the property, nearby. On some cupboards you will find red smileys indicating no access and green smileys allowing you to use them. Other things to note Linens and extra towels provided, don't forget to bring your bath linens and large towels! PLEASE NOTE: During school holidays, we only rent by the week! The prices displayed are valid for the winter period. The charge for your hybrid or electric car is a flat rate of 10 euros per charge. Following the sharp increase in energy prices, a contribution to HEATING COSTS WILL BE AT YOUR EXPENSE (30 euros/day) and added AS A SUPPLEMENT, in winter. For more information, contact us.
