With bed configurations comprising of: 1 Queen size bed in separate/private ensuite wing, 1 Double bed and 1 Bunk bed (1 Single; 1 Double; 1 Single trundle). This retreat also offers a spacious combined bathroom/laundry, open gourmet kitchen (Bosch Appliances) /dining/lounge living, main with ensuite and WIR, wood fire heater, comfort is second to none. The house is set on approx. 4 acres - kids can kick the footy, play cricket or fly a kite! Why not enjoy a delicious picnic whilst savouring the breathtaking views? The home is set on a ridge and at times guests can be treated to dynamic sunsets, storms (with winds) and spectacular moon rises. This secluded property is sure to delight within proximity to white sandy beaches and flora and fauna at Wilsons Promontory National Park, approximately 20 minutes to local beaches at Sandy Point, Waratah Bay and Walkerville, approximately 10 minutes drive to the town of Foster or Fish Creek for all basic amenities. Visit our many local wineries or a drive along our coastline boasts a great day out. This property offers superb views of the district and is a short drive to many of the wonderful attractions that South Gippsland has to offer. The design of the home allows those seeking refuge from the hustle and bustle to completely unwind and relax. This property is strictly a non smoking property. The property is NOT suited for pets. Due to the property's 6 Star energy rating, there are no air conditioners but fans to accommodate breezes across the ridge. Guest access Self entry via locked keycode - sent with arrival information. We have listed some specific information below to help make your stay more enjoyable and also to help us maintain the property for the enjoyment of everyone. We have prepared the property for the enjoyment of our family and yours, so please be considerate to return the property in the condition that you found it. Water Use Please be mindful that this property is on tank water. Therefore, please keep water usage to a minimum, especially in summer. Please also be mindful that if you are drinking tap water it is not filtered and coming directly from the tank. It is recommended that you purchase water from supermarkets. Please note that the property is on septic. Please dispose of sanitary products in the rubbish bin. Maintaining the condition of the property We kindly ask that you remove your shoes inside the house to help us maintain the floorboards. A basket has been provided inside the front door for shoes. If left outside they may become a toy for local wildlife! If spills occur on the stainless steel cooktop we ask that you wipe it gently with a soft, clean sponge in the direction of the grain and use the stainless steel wipes supplied. Please do not scrub or use dirty, rough sponges – this will scratch the stainless steel. Please use alfoil supplied on the baking trays and if cooking a roast, please use oven bags supplied. If excess cleaning of the oven, BBQ, washing machine, microwave and fridge is necessary, an additional cleaning fee will be taken from your bond (please refer to the property’s bond terms and conditions). Should you go outside the property’s bond terms and conditions you will be charged accordingly as invoiced to us. Helpful Hints When you leave there is no need to turn off electricity, hot water etc. The metre-box for the power is inside the house opposite the bathroom door. The hot water system is outside the front door to the right of the building below the front deck. If you experience no hot water, please check that the power switch is turned on, which is situated next to the hot water service. Leisure Please help yourself to the games in the cupboard in the hexagon. Up the top of this cupboard you will also find crockery for a picnic or eating outside. A picnic basket and blanket can also be found in the hanging wardrobe of the double bedroom. Please enjoy the wine and coffee supplied. You are welcome to enjoy the books and DVDs supplied, however, please take care to return them for everyone to enjoy. Pantry Please feel free to help yourself to the basic food supplies in the pantry. If everyone leaves behind a little bit of what they use, the next people staying can also enjoy them. Rubbish We do not have access to council rubbish collection so please take all rubbish with you when you leave. Failure to remove rubbish will incur a cost of $15 per bag of rubbish. Please use plastic bags or bin liners supplied in the kitchen cupboard/pantry for the kitchen bin. Please remove unwanted food from the fridge. Should the cleaner need to empty the fridge of unwanted food this will be removed as rubbish and incur a cost of $15 per bag. Wood Wood for the fire is in the wood box as well as under the house (on the shed side of the house under second bedroom). Smoking Smoking is not permitted inside the house.
