Beautiful, 3 bedroom, 2 bath, lakeside modern log home-strictly NO SMOKING or vaping/ NO PETS property. Ample parking. Sorry- no events or large parties permitted. LAKEFRONT log home nestled in a shallow cove on desirable Branch Lake in Ellsworth, Maine. Enjoy nature at its best! Enjoy watching abundant wildlife: ducks, geese, eagles, fish, turtles, frogs and more while sipping your coffee on the lakefront patio or while gathered around the fire pit. Home interior has cedar walls, cathedral ceiling in great room, lodge decor, hunting/ fishing taxidermy mounts displayed throughout- (salmon, Maine black bear, moose, wild turkeys, white tail deer, elk) . . . An incredible place to stay and enjoy a taste of Maine with the waters edge just a few feet from the cabin! Centrally located property with easy access to Route 1A. Enjoy day trips to Acadia National Park and local attractions, and return home to camp for some well-deserved Rest & Relaxation! You might just decide to hang out all day at camp! Central and convenient location to area activities, attractions, shopping, dining and medical facilities. : Only 15 miles to Bangor, approx 3 miles to BIA, 12 miles to downtown Ellsworth and approx. 45 minute drive to Acadia National Park. This is not a secluded property. There are other camps next to ours, and around the lake. Nice, respectful neighbors. Perfect location for a great lakefront vacation! All first floor living! Sleeps 6. master suite- located in one wing of home has lakefront patio: king bed, ensuite bath with walk-in closet, walk-in shower with multi jet shower system, rain shower head, plus extra shower head with bench seat. In the opposite wing of home is BR #2 with lakefront patio: queen bed, full bath with tub/shower situated between Queen BR and twin bedroom, BR #3: (2) twin beds, and the great room has sleeper sofa. All bed and bath linens, pillows, blankets supplied. Home has full-size washer and dryer in the basement. Great room- cathedral ceilings and open concept kitchen & dining are in the center of the home. Full kitchen with granite countertops, stainless refrigerator, gas stove/oven, microwave, Keurig full coffee pot plus K-cup, all dishes, glassware, pots & pans, cookware, and utensils. Bar area seats 3, dining table seats 6. Lakeside patio has table, chairs and gas grill- which is directly piped into home LP tanks. Home is equipped with LP hot water baseboard heat, LP fireplace, heat/AC pumps and ceiling fans in great room and all 3 bedrooms. Smart TV’s in great room and all 3 bedrooms. We supply start up dish/hand/laundry soap, toilet paper, paper towel. All that's needed are your personal items. Enjoy fishing/swimming in the lake that provides Ellsworth's drinking water. Gradual slope to lake, shallow water with rocks, and natural lake plants for amazing fish and wildlife habitat. Enjoy the private dock. Great for adults and kids! Kids love catching frogs and fish! Lake water level can vary due to the city’s use of the dam. Lakefront fire pit with multiple chairs. Use of fire pit is at own risk. Guest is not to bring camp firewood or any wood from another state. There are several roadside stands along the way to purchase firewood. Use of 2- person kayak and canoe. 16’ and 12’ aluminum boats with outboard motor available for rent. Use of boats, kayaks, canoe, floats, and all water activities are at OWN RISK. Boats must be reserved at least 2 weeks in advance. Renter must be an adult and must be experienced with boating and the use of outboard motors. Boat rental agreement form and payment required prior to arrival. Also, there is a possibility of hiring a licensed Maine Guide for a Branch Lake fishing excursion. Contact owner for availability, rates and details. Lifejackets and water toys/floats are stored in the basement and are available for use. (Free WiFi) High speed internet. Most cell phones have good coverage, and there is a landline phone for local calls. Saturday to Saturday rentals only. Check in is after 4 pm, and check out is by 10 am. There is a departure duty list requiring the guests to complete basic cleaning and duties at the home and property prior to departing. This list is also found in the home. Please contact owner/host for details. Rates vary per week depending on rental season and length of stay. November-May rates vary based on length of stay/rental term. Check with owner for availability and rental rate before booking online. No refunds if booking is cancelled by guest. Online booking will not be accepted until all terms are discussed. Online calendar may not be updated. So, please contact owner first. Thank you! Rental agreement forms will be emailed to guests , must be reviewed, signed, dated and returned to host via email. Pertinent information about your stay will be listed in those forms. Guests will need to provide contact information to host as soon as possible after booking online, as host will need to send agreement forms and might need to contact you should any need arise to inform you of any camp updates. These forms, along with other pertinent property information are emailed to guests just after booking is complete.
