Sexten in the Hochpustertal is a small holiday paradise, in the middle of the Unesco World Heritage Site of the Dolomites. Ideal for sports enthusiasts, cross-country skiers, cyclists, mountain bikers or summit stormers. The space Apartment to feel good for 2 to 4 persons with bedroom, kitchen with double sofa bed and bathroom Balcony 42 m² The history of our house Built around 1850 as a farmhouse. When the evacuated Sesto was set on fire in World War I, our house remained unharmed as one of the few houses in the district of St. Veit. Already at the end of the 1950s, a small apartment was rented out to holiday guests. At that time only with running cold water. Since there were no central heating yet, only the summer months were rented out. It wasn't until the 1960s that the installation of central oil heating could increase comfort and be rented all year round. In 1948, the northern part of the house was expanded; in 1966, it was the southern part, where with the expansion 4 new guest rooms were created. Fifty years later, the house experienced probably the largest renovation in its almost 170-year history. The upper and attic floors have been renewed and adapted to the needs of today without fundamentally changing the external appearance. Some of the old beams from 1848 also moved into the new apartments. Just in time for the winter season we welcomed the first guests.
