Peaceful cottage based in the rural outskirts of Rotorua (15 minutes drive from Rotorua CBD/nearest shops and service station). Accommodates up to 5 people (2 bedrooms + a sofa bed in the living room). Suitable for everyone who enjoys a quiet rural environment and fresh air. Guests are welcome to use our tennis court. Rotorua has many tourist adventure and scenic opportunities and attractions. We are excited to welcome you for a short or longer stay. The space Peaceful cottage with full kitchen, located in the rural outskirts of Rotorua (15 minutes drive from Rotorua CBD/nearest shops and service station). Suitable for everyone who enjoys a quiet rural environment and fresh air. If you enjoy a game of tennis, badminton, football or hockey, you are welcome to use our tennis court and equipment. We offer quite an extensive choice of board games, kid's toys and dvd's to enjoy during your stay. Guest access Guests will have full access to the cottage and surrounding lawn area. Guests are allowed to go for a walk in the nearby paddock and wetland area. Children must be supervised at all times due to limited fencing near water and steep river bank. We ask you to always close the paddock gates behind you if you are going to explore. If you enter paddocks with live stock, you do so at your own risk. Guests are also welcome to use the tennis court. We have rackets and balls available. Other things to note On arrival, you will find basic breakfast needs like bread, margarine, jam, eggs, coffee, tea, milk and juice in the fridge and pantry. Cell phone coverage is limited to certain areas in and around the cottage. You may have to walk around a bit to find cell phone reception if needed. Wifi is available throughout your stay. To keep you comfortable we have a heatpump/airconditioning unit in the lounge/kitchen area and infrared heating panels in both bedrooms. Extra blankets are provided if needed for those cold nights. Guest should be aware that the countryside is home to insects and rodents. Though we have effective measures in place around the cottage to keep these pests out, they may get into the cottage from time to time. This is a reality of nature which we can only control to a certain extent. Insect spray and repellent are provided and we advise guests to always put any food left-overs securely away.
