Description

Nestled in the Black Mountains, this listed barn conversion has underfloor heating, log burner, original oak timbers and private gardens. The interior is stylish and light with open spaces blending contemporary fittings and country antiques. The property is supplied with professionally laundered 100% cotton sheets, down bedding, fluffy white towels and all the kitchen stuff we think you might need. There is also a games room, loads of space to roam in and killer mountain views! The space Goose Cotts (sleeps 2) is an ancient cruck house converted to a romantic mezzanine cottage with a romantic canopied bed. The mullioned windows, massive blacksmith’s hearth and large glazed frontage make a rich marriage of ancient and modern. Outside is an east-facing breakfast patio, and southerly terrace for afternoon sun. A famous local dowser divined seven streams running beneath – it has a very special feel. Sauna now available to book while you are with us! Note: We have WiFi throughout the properties but there is no fibre in our corner of the countryside (yet!). Dogs are welcome for a charge of £20 each - please mention when booking so that we can put out the dog mats, bowls and blankets for you. We allow extra people by arrangement at a charge of £20 per person.
