On the first floor, you'll find a king-size and a single bedroom, plus a family bathroom with a sloping ceiling. And on warm days, nothing beats lounging in the garden or dining alfresco on the patio. Around 2 miles from the cottage, you can enjoy a leisurely walk along the meandering River Alde. The award-winning bird reserve at Minsmere is just 7.5 miles away, the perfect place for wildlife enthusiasts and photographers. If you fancy a day at the seaside, wander the streets of Aldeburgh (4 miles) and shop for freshly caught fish beside its pebbled beach. Or make your way to Thorpeness (5 miles) which offers a long, sandy beach as well as an artificial lake for rowing around.
