Relax and unwind in the heart of Kenepuru Sounds at Te Mahia Bay. Enjoy wide open skies, ocean views, and native bush surrounds. There's Starlink Satelite internet, a smart TV, and you'll have access to our secluded beach, jetty and mooring. Our home has comfortable beds, lovely decor, and is complete with all amenities. Spacious indoor and outdoor living areas open out to a large deck and lawn with natural surrounds. Bring all your extended family for a holiday under the one roof. The space Special conditions: This is a remote location with limited nearby facilities, utilities, and emergency services. Bring all your food with you. Te Mahia Resort's shop and cafe is just a five minute walk. We use a rain water tank, so limit your water usage where possible. There's no rubbish collection in the area, which means you'll be required to take your rubbish out with you. Guest access We have a mooring in the bay registered for vessels a maximum of nine metres long. If you're bringing in a boat and trailer in drive past the house, and reverse park behind the furthest sleep-out / guest room. (Refer to the drone photo for guidance). You will get stuck on our driveway if you attempt drive up to the house with your boat and trailer. The whole house is yours to use. The house is open plan, with adjoining lounge, dining area, kitchen, and two outside decks. There are three bedrooms downstairs, and one upstairs. The upstairs bedroom has two king single beds, an en-suite, and adjoining living area and workspace with a day bed. It opens out to a deck with stunning views across the Te Mahia Bay. Two bedrooms downstairs have queen beds, one of which includes an en-suite. The third bedroom, which is accessible from the garage has three king single beds. Across the driveway are two external sleep-outs / guest rooms. One with a king bed, the other a queen. Other things to note Te Mahia Bay is a large, sheltered and quiet bay. The bird life here is extraordinarily, and you'll be guaranteed a visited by pīwakawaka (fantail), kōkō (tui), and korimako (bellbird). Our beach is safe and kid friendly. There's also a kayak you're welcome to use. The Mistletoe Bay and Waterfall Bay walks, as well as the Queen Charlotte track to Look Out Point, are just a ten minute drive from the house.
