Drackdom is a very cute small self contained flat or chalet in a quiet rural hamlet one mile outside Wadebridge. It has 2 areas, including a living/dining/kitchen space, a separated bedroom with a double bed and 2 bunks only suitable for children up to 12 years old and a shower wet- room/loo. It's insulated, has a log-burner, TV, wifi and its own garden with outside eating area with a fishpond fountain. Drackdom was entirely re-furbished in 2019. There is ample parking on the property. The space Please note that the bunkbeds are designed for children up to 12 years old and will not suit most adults. Drackdom is immediately adjacent to our home "Tragara" (where Antony lives with his twins). The entrance and driveway to Drackdom is shared with Tragara, but Drackdom's garden is for use by guests. Well behaved pets are welcome. There are 5 cats on the property, a caged guinea pig and 17 goldfish, one called Alan. Guest access Parking is on the drive. The entrance gate can be a bit tight if you have a very long-wheelbase van or motorhome- not suitable for trailers. Burlawn is about 1 mile from Wadebridge, 5 mins in a car, 20 minute walk. Camel Trail (for Bikes and walks) is at the bottom of the hill, approx 1/2 mile from Drackdom. Other things to note Wadebridge is a small, pretty, friendly town with great shops, bars and restaurants- it is on the Camel Trail, a very popular cycle trail that runs between Bodmin and the coast at Padstow. Supermarkets are in Wadebridge, a five minute drive from Drakdom. We have a bar at the SALTBOX next to Lidl in Wadebridge- on site there are a number of street food traders offering great pizza, South Asian food, Tex Mex and Mediterranean. Child and dog friendly, very relaxed if you needs refreshments.
