Welcome to our spacious and stylish 150m² traditional house, where rustic charm meets modern comfort. Crafted with natural materials like wood and stone, and designed in a unique architectural style, the house accommodates up to 5 guests in full comfort. Enjoy panoramic views of Almyros Bay and the White Mountains from the terrace or relax indoors with all modern amenities at your fingertips. We're just 3 minutes by car from the Episkopi Beach, with easy access to both Rethymno and Chania. The space This is a house with amazing views to the valley and the White Mountains (Lefka Ori) to the west as well as full view of the sea of Almyros Bay to its north. The spacious ground floor (about 150 sqm) provides an aesthetic unity to the guests together with its private entrance and the front courtyard. There is also a fully equipped kitchen, two separate bedrooms, a spacious bathroom and a half- bathroom with toilet and basin. As our guest, you'll be invited to sample our own wine from the private wine cellar, as well as homemade olive oil — a true Cretan experience. Guest access The house is located in the picturesque "Episkopi" village with a supermarket in walkable distance, groceries, bakeries and petrol station only a min away on foot. By a five mins ride, the guests can reach one of the longest and most beautiful beaches of northern Crete that stretches for over 10km. For children, playgrounds are provided by several beach restaurants. Other things to note The house is quite spacious and therefore airy under a traditional tiled roof that helps mitigate the heat. In Crete, daily summer temperatures typically range between 24 and 33 °C, which is standard for Greek summers. The house of course gets affected in case of heat waves but non of our guests have reported discomfort- according guest reviews. Particularly in August- bear in mind- a sea wind from the north cools the island – called meltemi as mentioned in the weather forecast. Additionally we highly recommend keeping the windows fully open to allow a natural cooling cross- draft thoughout the house. Especially in the evenings, a refreshing sea breeze from the north-west flows in through the twin windows and the veranda. To further enhance comfort, we provide: three portable stand fans, a ceiling fan in both the master bedroom and the kitchen as well as an Air Cooler for additional relief to ensure a refreshing indoor environment, even on the hottest days.
