The Oak Apartment is an architecturally designed space perfect for singles or couples. "This is the place to stay next time you want to hit the Australian mountains" – Vogue Living “The Eastern offers a stylish slumber not often seen on the Australian ski fields.” – Est Living magazine The space Featured in Vogue Living, Broadsheet Sydney, Country Style Mag and Vogue Living. Embrace the mountains in our oak-clad hideaway and feel a million miles from the noisy bars and festival stages in the centre of Thredbo Village. Located on the east side of the main Thredbo Village district. A five minute walk to the very centre of the village, Valley Terminal (chairlift access, restaurants, bars and clubs). Furnished with bespoke furniture, beautiful objects and a curated art collection, the space offers a stylish slumber not often seen on the Australian ski fields. One bedroom apartment with a luxurious double bed and high-end linens. Full kitchen with integrated appliances and a Gaggia Classic coffee machine. Italian stone bathroom with heated floors and Leif products. Tech-savvy touches like digital guidebook, smart TV and free wifi. Our digital TV has Netflix, Disney+ and free to air digital channels, along with internet browsing and there are USB ports at the bedside for phone charging. Lockable mountain bike storage available. All the necessities like ski storage and a large drying area, as well as a balcony to enjoy the incredible views. Stay with us and wake up to the best views in Thredbo. Follow @theeasternthredbovillage for mountain adventures. Guest access Access to the space is via a private entry. Most of our guests are travelling from Sydney and arrive late at night. For this reason we have a unique code for each visitor to gain access to the space at a time which suits you. Other things to note Please note we don't break up the weekend for bookings – Friday and Saturday nights must be booked together. We are self managed with a single house manager dedicated to the property, rather than rotating, seasonal staff. This ensures a high level of consistency, cleanliness, and care that the larger operators in Thredbo are unable to deliver. Guests must not byo any additional mattresses or bedding. All guests must be declared at the time of booking. During the winter season Thredbo hosts outdoor music festivals and dance parties on most weekends in the Village Square and the pool area of The Alpine Hotel. For this reason, we relish being a little bit removed from the epicentre. Thredbo is a pedestrian village, so you won't need your car during your stay. The village is a ten minute walk from edge to edge. While we don't have parking onsite, Thredbo's free overnight car park is located directly in front of us at the bottom of the valley, it's a short stroll away. We are a design focused space with incredible views, we've found we're not the best fit for older guests who are less flexible with furniture requirements. Strictly no mountain bikes inside the property. Lockable mountain bike storage available in entry area, please contact if this is required. We recommend all guests check with Thredbo Resort to ensure the facilities and seasons align with their needs. Registration Details Exempt
