Best for snorkling, witnessing great sunsets and stargazing.. it’s a family beach place. *since we have other spaces, if there are more than one group in the property on the days you booked, swimming pool usage shall be shared on schedule basis per group for social distancing and your own safety. The space This part of Calatagan is at the very tip of the peninsula, so it feels remote.. well, it's actually remote, quiet and peaceful. Our place is 7 kilometers away from town so be sure to bring everything you'll ever need during your stay. Make a checklist. An Old World Outdoor Kitchen Experience A unique amenity of our place is the chance to experience cooking in an authentic Italian old world kitchen. The use of cast iron cookware, utensils and firewood are free of charge. Note: pls wash and oil all cast iron skillets after use. There is a standard modern gas stove and full kitchen inside each villa unit. *We have a short menu of Spanish and Italian dishes that you may pre-order at least 3 hours ahead of time. We prepare all food items fresh from scratch before serving. Guest access There is an adult and kiddie pool, a grilling area and an oceanview gazebo. Guests will have access to a coral reef beach, see the historic "Cape Santiago Lighthouse built by the Spaniards in the 1800's Things you can do on your own in Calatagan: Snorkling, freediving, Kayaking, Mt. biking, hiking, visit the mangove reserve ( barangay Quilitisan), ride a boat and snorkle at Little Boracay sand bar (30 min boat ride). Other things to note We have cats and kittens in the property so guests should not leave their food unattented on the outdoor tables and grilling area. The Capiz Beach Villa is located on a private 1000 sqm beach front property that has 4 structures... The main home of the owners, the Casita, the Tree House, and the new Capiz Beach Villa duplex, and one shared swimming pool for guests. Occasionally, and during the right season, some fishermen may drop by to sell their freshly caught fish at very reasonable prices. Please bring your own bath & beach towels as we do not provide towels and basic bathing amenities for our guests. *Please take note that we are not a resort-hotel, but an Airbnb beach house. Bring your own aqua shoes or water & beach sandals, masks and snorkels if you wish to snorkel, explore the low tide reef, or walk on the beach area. The natural terrain of the reef area is sandy, rocky and corals are exposed during extreme low tide. Other necessities to bring: Sunblock. After sun lotion. Outdoor hat. Mosquito and insect repellent. Food, beverages and cooking ingredients. Each unit has its own kitchen and a shared grilling area. Mineral water, charcoal or firewood are provided. also within the property is a Tree House , the Beach Casita, a shared oceanview gazebo and shared swimming pool.
