Quaint cottage with many new updates. Prime location, across the street from the center of Long Sands. Ocean view from many rooms. Steps away from stores & restaurants. Quick access to Nubble Lighthouse, York's Wild Animal Kingdom, and Short Sands. Shared driveway, large parking area and 1/2 acre of land for kids to run around. Fire pit, grill, outdoor furniture, beach chairs, outdoor shower, clothes line ... all your vacation essentials included! Welcome, make yourself at home! At night, from the master bedroom you can hear the waves crashing. In the morning, sip your coffee on the sunny, front porch with 3 walls of windows. Then it's just a walk across the street to have your toes in the sand! An easy cookout for dinner is done right on the grill. Before bed, relax around fire pit in the big, private back yard. There is a black, circle lock box attached to the house up the back stairs. This is where the house keys are kept. You will receive an email and text notification a few days before your stay with your activation code. If you've never been to York, it's a very relaxing and family oriented atmosphere. Especially on Long Sands Beach, there's plenty of beach for everyone. You just have to watch the tide schedule. There are brand new, very clean public bathrooms, stores and restaurants feet away. The "downtown" area - aka Short Sands - is where all the activity is happening. It's a nice .8 mile walk and has stores, restaurants, an arcade, bowling alley, the zoo, play ground, basketball hoops, bars, etc. There is lots to do or you can take a quick car ride to Kittery, Ogunquit, Wells or Portsmith, NH for other adventures. There is plenty of parking on our property. You can also walk to many locations. The trolley is a fun option that comes by every 30 minutes all day for a low ticket price. The cottage is tiny (800 square feet) and old (built in 1900!). However, we put a lot of time, work, thoughtfulness, and love into making it as updated and cozy as possible. We will continue to make improvements year after year. After all, this is our home and we spend a lot of time here too!
