Sanddune Guesthouse, Shakas Rock (Dolphin View)

Dolphin View is a beautiful apartment in Sanddune Guesthouse, located 20 minutes from King Shaka Airport. It is a short walk to Thompson's Bay Beach and Tidal pool which has lifeguards and shark nets. You have your own private balcony. The apartment is serviced except on Saturdays, Sundays and public holidays. We will provide you with a clean apartment, fresh white linen, bath and beach towels. Fishing is popular from High Rock, snorkeling in the tidal pool and surfing just a walk away. The space Sanddune Guesthouse has 5 private apartments sleeping 2 people in each apartment. Guests have their own privacy and all amenities needed in their apartment. The only part of the guesthouse that is shared is the swimming pool area. You have one parking bay on the property and can walk to the beach. We are 2 hours from Umfolozi and Hluhluwe game reserve to the north, where you will find the Big Five and 3 hours to the Central Drakensberg world heritage site. Durban is 30 minutes south and has the popular Ushaka Marine World. We have famous gold courses from Zimbali, Umhlali, Simbithi and Prince's Grant. There are many day trips around the area and we will be able to assist with ideas and maps. Guest access You will have use of the swimming pool, Top Deck and the garden. Other things to note The apartment is suitable for a couple, we do not accommodate children. It is only a 200 m walk to Thompsons Bay Beach and a very quiet location. Perfect for some rest and relaxation. It has a lounge area with a smart TV, a kitchen area with a small 2 plate oven, a small microwave, a kettle and toaster and all the necessary cutlery and crockery. It has a medium size fridge. The bedroom has a queen size bed with an open plan bathroom with a shower and bath tub. Both the bedroom and lounge have concertina doors onto your private balcony where you are welcome to braai while enjoying the wonderful sea views. You have two loungers and an outside table and chairs on the balcony. Nobody has access to this balcony. The apartment has a safe, iron, ironing board and a hair dryer. One parking is provided per apartment on the property. Please let us know if you have a trailer etc as provision will need to be made if necessary.
