This listing is for a comfortable private bedroom with a VERY cozy king size bed you'll want to snooze in all day! You'll have plenty of space to unpack with a closet, bureau, and a full private bathroom. The space HoME is a boutique Hostel & Inn in Maine's Western Mountains. We pride ourselves on our clean, cozy, and welcoming atmosphere; we're not a loud party hostel and welcome guests of all ages to relax and enjoy our lodge. Our library is full of books and games for your enjoyment during your stay. HoME comfortably accommodates up to 29 guests in a mix of private and custom built bunk rooms, each with its own ensuite bathroom. Please send an inquiry for up to date room & pricing info! **What makes us a hostel and not just an Inn?** Essentially just our abundance of shared space to socialize and relax: our great room & dining room are both awesome spaces to share stories and conversations with friends old and new. Most of the amenities you'd expect from an Inn are provided: fresh linens & towels, toiletries & hair dryer; but we don't offer daily turnover service. Guests are expected to clean up after themselves in common spaces, which includes washing your own dishes after breakfast and other meals enjoyed at HoME. Additionally we have some extras like our kitchenette access, local activities board, library, and game collection. We've created HoME to feel like a home away from home, and our guests love it :) **How does breakfast work?** We serve a hearty continental breakfast of homemade baked goods, cereals, fresh fruit, hard boiled eggs, whatever else we're in the mood to whip up in the kitchen, and of course coffee & tea every morning. If that doesn't work for you; feel free to bring your own ingredients & make whatever you'd like in our guest kitchenette with fridge, microwave, toaster oven, coffee & hot pot, electric griddle & induction cooktops. Pots, pans, and all tableware are provided. Guests have access to the kitchenette everyday from 6am-10pm and are expected to clean up after themselves. Guest access Guests will have access to their own bedrooms during their stay as well as all common areas: great room, dining room & kitchenette, outdoor patio & deck, and 5 acres of outdoor space with a trail around the property for you to explore! Other things to note * Due to Maine State Regulations; ALL alcohol consumed in common areas must be purchased through Hostel Of Maine (service until 10ish). You are free to consume your own alcohol in your private bedroom however we ask that you are very careful and also mindful of others if you are in the bunk room. * Our Full Kitchen can only be accessed by HoME management & licensed caterers. If you have questions about meal preparation, just ask! * HoME is a great space to hold your event; whether a low key family reunion, intimate wedding, or company retreat! Let us know how we can help you throw a great party! * We do not operate a 24 hour front desk; check in is between 3-9pm daily. Arrivals after 9pm are at staff discretion and permitted ONLY if communicated with us in advance. Guests booked in shared bunk rooms and arriving late may be required to check-into private room (as available) and are responsible for difference in room rate. A late check in fee of $25/per hour for every hour after 9pm may be charged. * We are happy to welcome fully house trained, clean and well socialized four-legged companions! Guest dogs are permitted based on availability for a $15 fee per dog per night in PRIVATE ROOMS ONLY (2 dogs per room maximum). The dog(s) must be well socialized with people and animals, clean, fully house trained, under owner control at all times, not permitted on furniture, and not left alone in any space of the hostel (including bedrooms) for any length of time. A local dog daycare is available if necessary. If a dog is found not to be well suited to a hospitality environment, we reserve the right to ask the dog to leave without refund of stay.
