Rustic Panorama cottage at Balaton

Welcome in our charming rustic country house! A wonderful space to relax, meet up family and friends and explore this marvelous region which is usually called Hungarian Provence. The panoramic view is also amazing! The space Our rustic cottage is located on one of the most characteristical volcanic hill at the lake Balaton it is called St. George-hill. The house is about 300 meters high on the hill. The terrace area around the house spread over two levels provides a fantastic free view of the lake Balaton. A part of the terrace is covered where is a big table with benches. This is suitable for appr. 10 people to sit. St. George-hill is a nature reserve. It is an excellent area for small trip and excursions. The top of the hill is only 1,5 hours by foot. The hill belongs to a famous vine region where typical Hungarian white Riesling varieties are made. There are some vineyards and cellars in the near. If you like wines you will enjoy the different kind of wines. The closest beach is about 8 km (10 min by car) from the house in Szigliget which is very ideal for families and for group of friends. (URL HIDDEN) The closest town, Tapolca, is appr. 10 km (12 min by car) with historical city center, a lot of cultural programs and supermarkets. Guest access We offer for your comfort our beautiful guest house. Purpose-built, with a spectular panoramic view, located at the popular Saint George's Hill (Szent György hegy) in the territory of the Balaton Uplands National Park. Guests can use everything in the house - cook, use the washing machine and also cook in the garden. We provide linen and towels. Availability Our apartment opens from April to October, to everyone who wishes to spend a vacation at this beautiful lake - the largest in Europe! Accommodation is available for 4-6 people.
