Wadella Farmhouse & Farm stay

Built in 1854 this 3brm secluded cottage on our farm stay is where you can enjoy the peacefulness of the country with all the comforts of the modern day and only 20min from Bathurst city centre. Relaxing on the wrap around balcony you will hear the sounds of the rivulet below, the birdlife and farm animals which we invite you to come and meet and feed in the afternoons. Inside is everything you need including the comfort of a fireplace or A/C in the summer. The space For your comfort on a cold country night we have heating, a fireplace and electric blankets on the beds. A full kitchen with all amenities, a classic claw bath to relax in the morning and Netflix on your TV at the end of your night. Outside is a BBQ with a view and an outdoor table to sit back and watch the sun set at dinner, don’t forget to look for a Kangaroo hopping by, we have WiFi and a selection of games and books to enjoy. The cottage is fully fenced and safe for kids or pets. Guest access The cottage is separate from our homestead so you have your own space to enjoy. When you arrive we can show you the best paddocks to walk through depending on what animals we have there at the time. We also have access to the Rivulet to wade through the water or a swim in summer. Depending on the season we may have baby goats , sheep or chicks, we welcome you to come and feed the animals in the afternoon. Other things to note We have many paddocks with a range of farm animals. When walking through a paddock please close the gate. We have sheep, goats, horses, chickens and two dogs. We would love to show you around safely. We offer enough firewood for each night, if you would like more we charge $20 for another load. Registration Details PID-STRA-2617-1
