"Up the Back" is one of Bicheno's original Shacks. It has been gently renovated to bring it up to date whilst still retaining its character. The true feature of the place is the spectacular view overlooking the ocean and Redbill Surf Beach which leads on to the Penguin Sanctuary at Diamond Island. The space Open plan lounge and kitchen. This cottage has a great casual ambience, the sunrise is spectacular from the lounge, deck and master bedroom. Redbill surf beach is also part of the view and has some of Tasmania's best waves. Penguins abound down at the shoreline, you can hear them at sunset and early morning as they come and go from their nests. Whales are visible during the northern migration in Autumn and return in the spring. Guest access Guests can access all parts of the property and gardens. Other things to note The driveway slopes up from the road to a concrete area at house level. Plenty of room to park and unload. There is also a flat area to park at the front of the house if needed.
