Description
Father Sky cabin is a single room with beds, a sink, & coffee bar. It provides a grand view of the Monuments at your front door. Guests will definitely enjoy beautiful sunsets, sunrises, and stargazing from the front porch. Set in the same location as Mother Earth Hogan, the cabin provides a quiet, private setting with a picnic table. Enjoy a bbq or open pit fire in the evening. A small, free complimentary breakfast is included. The restroom is a shared, portable, outdoor privy. The space A great secluded place to get away & enjoy beautiful Monument Valley from your front porch! This one room cabin is furnished with a coffee bar, sink, and sleeping area. The porch light is motion- sensored to accommodate the front porch and its amenities of a fire pit, gas bbq & picnic table. The outdoor restroom is shared with one other party. It is about 15 yards away from the cabin. Showers are not available. Guest access OUTDOOR KITCHEN: There is an outdoor kitchen you may utilize. The space has a refrigerator, microwave, & camp gas stove. BREAKFAST: Free! Join us at the Outdoor Kitchen from 7:30am to 9am. DINNER ORDERS: I do provide dinner meals upon request. Each plate is $15. SPECIALTY: Navajo Taco 😊 Same day request is welcomed. Just ensure to mention upon check in. *OTHER Special dinner requests should be placed a day before arrival for preparation. *Lamb Dumpling Stew *Beef Vegetable Stew *Summer Stir-fry: Zucchini, Corn, & ground beef sautéed with natural herbs. ** All served with frybread or Tortilla. During your stay We are happy to share our culture & traditions with you at breakfast. I am also happy to share information for Guided Jeep/Horse Tours. Just request anytime to plan into your visit. We want you to have a memorable experience. The Navajo people are rich in continuing cultural traditions, crafts, and food. You are definitely in for an enriching experience! Other things to note The Navajo Nation is on Daylight Savings Time from March to October. (One hour ahead of standard time). GFI & Google Maps are not good here. Please follow the map I enclose to you upon confirmation. The Navajo Nation does not have private street addresses, so neither do we. I can only urge you to use highway #, mile posts, & landmarks. The towns are far in between each other like 90 miles and more. So take advantage of fueling up.
