The Nook is a converted garage unit which is detached from our house with private entrance, outdoor seating area and key safe for entry. Accommodation comprises of living room/kitchenette, bedroom and wet room. Selection of breakfast cereals, tea, coffee, sugar and milk are provided to make your stay as comfortable as possible. A T.V/D.V.D player are for your use, as is a microwave and induction hob for light cooking. Comfortable seating and a small dining area complete the main room. The space The Nook is situated within easy walking distance of Thirsk town centre and also ideally placed for the Racecourse, again within walking distance. Being a traditional market town, it has markets held on Mondays and Saturdays. Thirsk is an ideal base for walkers, fishermen and tourists. North York Moors, the Coast and surrounding area, all made famous by James Herriot and more recently by "The Yorkshire Vet". Sutton Bank and White Horse Bank are all in close proximity, both giving amazing views of "God's own Country" Thirsk has easy access to major road networks and a railway station is approx 1.5 miles from the town centre.
