Finlas Cottage, Loch Lomond

Our beautiful farmhouse overlooks Loch Lomond and the Trossachs National Park. We have a secluded yet convenient location, situated only 5 minutes drive from the ancient Argyll village of Luss and 10 minutes drive from Helensburgh. Situated only 40 minutes from Glasgow and Stirling, you will be able to visit nearby cities as well as enjoying the beautiful rural scenery and walks of Shegarton and the surrounding Creachan Hill. There are several good-quality restaurants and cafes nearby. Guest access We are situated just off the A82, where it meets the A817. We would strongly recommend that you have a car while staying at Fruin Cottage. The closest village is Luss, 5 minutes by car with the towns of Helensburgh and Dumbarton only 10 minutes away by car. There is free parking for two cars immediately adjacent to the cottage which is a very short walk from our family home. The cottage has two steps up to the main door, with everything on the level thereafter. Guests also have access to a delightful sunny outdoor sitting area with table and chairs. Other things to note A car is essential for your time at Shegarton. There is a £25 charge if you would like to bring your dogs and they cannot be left unattended in the cottage - up to two dogs are welcome.
