We are located in Cherronisos, on the north side of the island, which is an idyllic seaside settlement with turquoise waters. In this small fishing village, you will spend a beautiful, calm holiday, enjoy the clear waters and of course the local delicacies. The area is particularly well known, among other things, for its development in the field of pottery. About a century ago 25 kilns were in operation with the potters creating pitchers and handmade utensils, representative of Sifnian art. The space Our accommodation is located in the picturesque, coastal village of Cherronisos. It is a new but traditional house, which maintains the Cycladic architecture, built with stone, just as the inhabitants of the island used to build. The house includes all the necessary amenities that the visitor needs to spend a relaxing and comfortable holiday. As you approach to the house, you will get the cozy and warm feeling like when you go to your cottage. The house is located right by the sea and the courtyard is filled with flowers and basil. Imagine waking up in the morning and enjoying your breakfast, in the private balcony, together with your loved ones, by the sound of the waves of the sea, while the air will be filled with fragrances of the aromas of flowers and basil. And in the evening along with your company, you will enjoy the night under the light of the stars accompanied by the sweet sea breeze. The house is ideal for families and groups of friends as it can accommodate up to 4 people. It is a house like a small maisonette, consisting of 2 levels. There is a bedroom with 1 double bed, as well as a one space living room – kitchen with 2 single beds, also. In this room there is also a sofa that becomes a bed. The single space is traditionally decorated, and the visitor will notice some paintings, which have been created with love and passion for her island, by the owner of the house who happens to be painter. Admire the paintings and feel them speak into your soul. If the painting is giving you all the right emotions, you can order your own one. In the kitchen there are all the necessary household appliances and equipment in order to cook and feel at home The bathroom of the house has a shower. There is also an outdoor shower, essential for a shower before or after swimming. Other things to note Heronissos is about 25 minutes by car from the island's port and 15-20 minutes from the centre of Apollonia. From April to June, there are 2 or 3 bus services per day from Heronissos to Apollonia. From July to September, the frequency of services increases. Ideally, if you want freedom of movement and to explore the rest of the island, we recommend renting a car or scooter. Enjoy the local cuisine at the two restaurants-seafood taverns in the area and find everything you need at the mini market, which is open from June to mid-October. You can come to Heronissos by car/scooter or taxi (it would be advisable to book in advance); buses only serve the route to and from Apollonia. There is free municipal parking in the village's main square, approximately 100 metres above the property. Relax on the terrace with sun loungers while enjoying the stunning view of the crystal-clear waters of the bay.
