It is on the foothills of the Albion Plateau, 8 km from the village of Banon (famous for its cheese and its bookshop "Le Bleuet", known internationally for its huge maze of books and the depth of its collection) 20 minutes from Apt (capital of the Luberon) and 40 minutes from Manosque. Rustrel's Provençal Colorado is 10 minutes away. Other famous villages nearby: Viens (12km) Oppedette (9km), Bonnieux (40km), Roussillon (32km), Gordes (40km) etc. The world-famous Lavender Festival takes place in Sault (21 km) every 15 August.
