In a charming village of Vexin, close to all amenities and 200 m from a large sports park. Shared kitchen and bathroom with other guests. Healthy and relaxing home. Independent access through the garage of the house. Heating (optional and at your request) is to be paid in addition to €12/night via the AirBnB app. Renovation work is underway in the house (see details in the detailed description). The space The room is located on the second floor of a large stone house. The staircase is a little steep and there is no handrail. Part of the property is still under construction. The shower wall is covered with protective plastic. Some finishes are not finished, but the whole is quite clean and functional. NO TV... a very relaxing calm! By default, the accommodation is not heated. We provide free hot water bottle, extra duvet, etc... If you wish to turn on the heating in the bedroom and common areas, an additional €12 per night will be payable via the AirBnB app. By default, the accommodation is not heated, including in the winter months. This accommodation is NON-SMOKING. The bedroom and shared spaces have been completely renovated with natural products (lime coatings, casein paints, linseed oil). Cleaning and laundry is also done with natural products that are not harmful. This accommodation is perfect for people with allergies or just concerned about preserving their health. Possibility to use a washing machine and a clothes rack in the garage. During your stay Your check-in and check-out is autonomous. Communication is mainly via the Airbnb app chat or by phone. We live in the apartment just below your accommodation, but we are often on business trips abroad. My in-laws (who are Chinese and do not speak French or English) live on the ground floor and are always there if needed. Other things to note We are often on business trips abroad. Communication is therefore mainly via Airbnb chat. ** The windows of the rooms overlook the street which is moderately busy (village). ** TRANSPORT CAUTION: The bus system is unreliable. Some buses are cancelled at the last minute. There are no buses during school holidays. I therefore strongly advise against planning to use the last bus of the evening, otherwise you may be without a solution at the station of Mantes la Jolie. So plan to have money to be able to take a taxi/Uber or good shoes to walk to the house (2.5 hours).
