private guesthouse on scenic property!

This little gem sits on 2 acres of beautiful land with mature trees. Our little cottage is only 500 sq. ft. So it’s ideal for 2 people but will accommadate up to 4 (2 kids or 1 adult on futon). We are just 1/4 of a mile away from W.W. Night Nature Preserve for morning or evening walks! We are conveniently located just 3 minutes away from the 75/I80 interchange with several stores and restaurants just 1 exit away! We love our military so ask about our discount after booking! The space You have full and private access to the guesthouse with your own parking spot beside the garage, under the carport which will fit 2 mid sized cars. It is, however, a shared driveway with us, your hosts. There are snacks available upon arrival for your convenience. If there is anything you feel like you are missing during your stay, we try to keep conveniences stocked so just ask! :) there is only one TV in the guesthouse which is located in the bedroom. For separate tv watching, I suggest you bring your own device to stream in the common area. Guest access you will have access to a private parking spot that sits on the South side of the Guesthouse (through the carport) Check in with a keypad so check in is convenient and flexible for late travelers. For a fee of $5(per 10 pieces of split wood) guests can enjoy a fire outside off the deck to burn at their leisure. You are more than welcome to explore any part of the 2acres BEHIND the guesthouse, EXCLUDING the trampoline and GaGa ball pit. There are mulberry trees, raspberry bushes, apple trees and pear trees that you are welcome to pick from when in season! The deck off the guesthouse is a perfect place to watch the sunset in the evenings:) Other things to note Potential for Noise: We DO have a rooster! He’s a very good boy who crows for his flock around 7am. I personally don’t think he’s loud (due to being on the back acre of our property). Midday When traffic picks up, you can hear I80 from the yard but not necessarily from inside. There are occasional train horns from the train tracks about 1/4 mile away. There may be occasional mowing and working in the yard outside of quiet hours.
