These roomy outdoor studios feature a fully appointed kitchenette, dining table and a comfy leather couch for 2 people. These courtyard rooms were originally the bathroom and laundry for the main house built in 1898. In the 1930s they were converted into a toy workshop and in the 1950s they became illegal apartments as was common throughout Ponsonby then. They remained like that until we purchased the property in the early 1990s and renovated.
