The Patikakert guesthouse is a passive house, located in the middle of a special plantation, beneath the Buda Hills, 12 km's from Budapest. The interior is nicely designed with individual and artistic elements. The guesthouse is surrounded by a beautiful relaxation garden, a bio swimming pond, spaces designed for barbecue, what are all available for our guests. Bedrooms are equipped with a double bed. One extra bed and baby cot is available on request. The space The house is located on several hectares of land, which offers a perfect atmosphere for relaxation, family rest or strategic planning for managers. In the building adjacent to the guesthouse there may be food processing, but noise is not heard because the buildings are especially well isolated. Local staff is available on request. The focus of Patikakert’s philosophy is the healthy lifestyle and the luxury of the 21st century, namely the spacious, airy space and nature. We would like to contribute to this with some information. Patikakert A berry plantation where we grow crops with an exceptionally high polyphenol and antioxidant content, such as black raspberries, black birch, sour cherry, black currants, black blackberries… From these fruits, in a small plant in the adjacent building, we make a concentrate, which, thanks to careful cultivation and harvesting, as well as gentle heat treatment, is a health-protective dietary supplement with excellent antioxidant content. This is Polyphenol Active, which is available in two forms - fructose and sweetener. If you are interested in the product, please contact the hosts 😊 The guest house is decorated with the hostess' photos and paintings. We can make signed copies of the photos on request within a few days. Rooms You will find the keys in the room door, each keychain has 3 keys: for the gate, the front door and the room. Please do not take the keys with you in any way, if this happens, we will ask you to reimburse the costs involved. When leaving the accommodation, place the keys on the table next to the entrance. The house has 3 double rooms (double bed design). The blue room has a bathroom, the other two rooms also have a separate bathroom, one upstairs and the other downstairs from the hallway. The linens are in the closet behind the beds. Pulling out the drawer makes it easier to open the door of the bed linen holder with a slight push If you need a hair dryer, it is located on the ground floor, in the upper right part of the cabinet opposite the entrance. Please put it back in the same place after use. Warm blankets are found in the bedrooms or bathrooms. Please do not use these blankets when bathing outside, take the bath sheets provided there. Kitchen You can use the kitchen machines and equipment, you can find guides in the leftmost, upper drawer. Please always return the guides to their original location so that the next guests can find and use them. The consumption of coffee and tea is included in the accommodation fee, the price list of other drinks can be found in the annex and in the kitchen. The products in the basket in the window can also be purchased. When leaving the guesthouse, please pay for the use of the "minibar" in cash. Sauna On the basement level, you will find the infrared sauna and the associated relaxation area. We have placed a user manual in the sauna, which allows you to enjoy the sauna at your own risk. The sauna is not recommended for children under 12 years of age. Garden barbecue, relaxation, bathing There is a bio-swimming pool in the garden for your relaxation, but it can only be used by children under adult supervision. The fuel for the oven and the garden bacon roaster can be used from the woodpile outside. You will also find tools for bacon roasting and cooking in a cauldron. Please always and carefully extinguish the fire after use. Important things to know The Patikakert building is a passive house, which means that the air inside is constantly exchanged through the vents. Therefore, there is no need to ventilate, and even open doors and windows can disrupt the operation of the system. Please keep this in mind and keep the doors and windows closed. Thank you for your cooperation It is FORBIDDEN to light a fire (candle) or smoke in the house! The designated smoking area is located in the courtyard, at the covered storage opposite the neighboring house. After using the sauna, make sure the appliance is turned off! Pay attention to the instructions for use of the kitchen appliances, which you will find in the drawer! Hiking, tours You can take shorter or longer hikes to the nearby forest. We recommend the Öregtölgy nature trail, which is highlighted in red on the map in the annex, although it is marked by a green acorn figure in the forest. Öregtölgy forest educational trail This is a smaller tour, it can be walked in about 1-1.5 hours. The terrain is easy, in one part you have to cross a rather large ditch, which means that the road first slopes steeply down and then steeply up. 2. Anna-laki hunting lodge Walking on the green square, we can reach the hunting lodge with an easy walk of about 1 hour, where a forest resting place and the Csergezán memorial stone await us. There are several routes to choose from on the way back. 3. Nagy Kopasz – Csergezán Pál lookout The highest point of the Buda Hills (559 m). It can be accessed from the area by several routes.
