Welcome to my cozy cottage, only 2 miles away from Imperial Beach! Along with its close proximity to all major tourist locations, such as beautiful white sand beaches, Coronado with the famous Hotel Del, the lively Gaslamp District of Downtown and minutes away from Tijuana, Mexico, my place has a quaint farmhouse style courtyard and porch where you can enjoy the outdoors and relax in the evenings. I hope you will create special memories from your San Diego vacation and feel at home at my place. The cottage is part of a duplex (Me & my family live in the front unit of the duplex) and sits on a quiet street where there are new homes recently built across the street. It's been recently remodeled and has a comfortable and relaxed feel, as you'll see in the photos. You'll be close to the freeway and about a mile from Imperial Beach Pier. Getting to Coronado is an easy drive up the Silver Strand and downtown is only about 10-15 minutes away. You'll be conveniently close to stores to stock up on everything you need for your vacation! If you want to venture into Mexico, you'll only be about 10 minutes away from the US/Mexico Border (note that you will need a passport to cross back and forth). I'm happy to answer any questions to help make your San Diego vacation spectacular! The kitchen is equipped with all of the basics you'll need if you'd like to have some meals at home. We provide linens and towels and starter supplies, like toilet paper, soap, dish soap, paper towels, etc. The living room has a day bed with a trundle (both are twin). The bedroom has a double bed. Laundry area can be accessed through the back kitchen door and includes a washer, dryer and sink. This is shared with the other unit, but is very private. I want you to make yourself at home and ask that you treat my little cottage as if it were your own. I have a full time work schedule during the day, but I will make every effort to assist you if required during your stay. I live in a separate residence on the property, so am always available to answer any questions, but will never intrude upon your privacy or space. IB beach is couple of miles from my place. It has a nice pier along with some awesome restaurants & breweries. You can also take the silver strand route to Coronado which is one of the popular tourist destinations in San Diego.
