Description
Our beautiful luxury 3 bedroom lodge is on one level & has an open plan living area with fireside and patio doors which open on to an enclosed decking area. Set in beautiful woodlands it has a large garden area with off road parking for 2 vehicles. Linen, towels, gas & electric are included. A great location close to plenty of local amenities, onsite pool and gym both open to public and great woodland walks perfect for pets. A hamper on arrival to welcome guests. Check in is 3pm and check out is 10am for all guests. The lodge contains all amenties including a large American fridge/freezer with on tap cool water and ice maker. washing machine, dishwasher, microwave, oven & hob, TV, DVD player, and we can boast a Google Mini. staying in the historic 1066 country is a must. There are an abundance of things to do and many castles in the area to visit, including the amazing Abbey situated in Battle (only 6 mins drive)where the battle of Hastings is said to have taken place. You will find the infamous Hastings lifts both on the East & West hills of Hastings old town along with the deep smugglers caves where many stories have been told. Situated in beautiful woodland location, perfect for wood walks and adventures with or without pets. We are not far from the on site Country clubhouse which serves hot food and has a large bar area with weekly entertainment throughout the seasons, a heated swimming pool and gym facilities. There are local shops within walking distance as well as a bus route into Hastings town centre where you will find the castle and plenty of other tourist attractions. The lodge is roughly 6 miles from the village a Battle where you are able to visit the 1066 Abbey, a real quaint village with lots of character. it is very tranquil and full of character. If you are travelling by car we are not far into the park, the clubhouse is within walking distance from the lodge, there is a very lovely wood walk opening no far where you can spend one time being at one with nature. There is a direct bus route 5-10 minutes walk near the local amenities which can take you into the town centre of Hastings. Battle another local village is only 6 miles away too and there is a train station in both there and Hastings.The quaint Edwardian town of Bexhill is a short drive away and it boasts of a beautiful Art Deco Pavilion where there is always something from art galleries to live acts and outdoor cinema.
