It is perfect for an indulgent couple's retreat or for a couple of friends on a getaway. Treat yourself to a country getaway, a relaxing break in luxury and indulgence. Set amid a tranquil and picturesque leafy landscape, you won't want to leave. Located on the Mid North Coast of NSW, just 8 minutes from the quaint town of Wauchope. The space One 8 Nine Guesthouse is a one-bedroom luxury Cottage. Newly purpose built, the Guest House is situated adjacent to the main house on 7 acres of manicured gardens and paddocks. The cottage boasts a veranda out the back and a private fully enclosed area out the front, cathedral ceiling throughout the living/dining area , a freestanding bath, wood burning fireplace, and stunning natural timber floors throughout. Warm and cosy in winter, cool and breezy in summer. A king size bed with luxurious linen sheets, a spacious and modern bathroom with fluffy towels. The sitting room has a comfy lounge and tv. Reverse cycle air conditioning in the bedroom will keep you comfortable regardless of the time of year. There is a full kitchen with a coffee machine, dishwasher, electric oven, and gas cook top. The kitchen is stocked with some essentials, including coffee, an assortment of teas, sugar and fresh milk. A breakfast hamper is provided for your first night, with fresh bread, farm fresh eggs and bacon. Outside, the veranda has a table and chairs, built-in seating with lots of cushions, and an outdoor shower. There's nothing more wonderful than having a shower under a starry sky, no matter the season. Surround yourself with the tranquillity of the property, the fresh country air and balmy nights. Explore the beauty that the Mid North Coast has to offer whilst you're visiting. Guest Access: The entire guest house is yours to enjoy and parking is available. You are free to wander around the property however do remember there are cattle on the property so please leave them to their munching and do not approach them. During your stay, you can enjoy vast views reaching out onto the paddocks, where you'll find cows, chickens, fruit trees, gardens, and your own featured avocado tree. We also have a resident tawny mouth owl with babies and you will often spot a kookaburra in the gardens. Guests have use of the pool and access to a BBQ upon request. Wauchope is a beautiful quaint town situated on the Hastings River with mountains, rivers and oceans nearby. The property is situated in a peaceful and open valley with mountain views and paddocks everywhere you look. We are located just 8 minutes from the beautiful town of Wauchope where cafes, restaurants, and shopping are at your disposal. Just 25 mins drive to the beautiful beaches at Port Macquarie or head up the mountain to the picturesque village of Comboyne renown for its avocado plantations. It is best to have your own car in this area, there is no public transport into town, however, a taxi service is available, and of course, your hosts will help you where possible.
