Situated in the scattered villages of Kut- Chadiara, in the Panj- La Valley, Chamba Himachal Pradesh, India perched mid-way up a terraced slope at 1325m above sea level. Surrounded by organic farms, fruit orchards, vegetable garden, medicinal herbs, flora & fauna with 49 different species of the Birds plus migratory ones. A bird's eye view of the mighty River Saal in the valley below gives a breath taking view for a peaceful retreat. The space Discover a hidden treasure and oasis lying in the lap of the Pir Panjal & Dhauladhar mountain ranges. Our home is just not a home but a working Organic farm which sustains our family with organic food and provides work for the local people that lives around us. Enjoy plucking kiwi, plums, peaches and more when season it right or learn to milk our friendly cow and learn to make butter and yogurt for breakfast. Chamba an ancient town in the state of Himachal Pradesh India is just a short drive and is our main town with wonderful places to explorer. It is among the oldest principalities in North India founded by King Shahil Varman in AD920. Over the centuries it developed its unique style of art and architecture. We live in the Western Himalayas, rich in culture heritage and scenic beauty, it offers breathtaking views, picturesque waterfalls, picnic spots, millennial old temples, shrines and deep virgin untouched forests and perfect platform for hikers and trekkers. Guest access Our guests have access to most of our home with the exception of our personal bedrooms. During your stay We are a family run home stay so we are around the home every day however we have lots of areas where you can escape to. We love to talk to our guests and answer any questions as well as talking about India's environment, culture, local history and so much more. We invite you to learn how we cook and live on our organic farm with the interaction of all our family. Other things to note Our home is not a drive in. An approximate 20-30 minute walk up hill on a zig zag dirt and stone step trail, it is all a gentle up hill, taking it nice and slow is the key. We will have porters to come carry any luggage you have.
