The location of our condo—seated within a 2 minute walk of local favorites like Saw's Barbecue, Edgewood Creamery, Taco Mama, Homewood Antiques, Escape Day Spa, and more—make this spot hard to beat. Whatever your reason for visiting, our tasteful and refined furnishing will ensure you feel at home, and self check-in makes it easy to come and go as needed. Also, please note Cable TV is NOT provided. However, you will have access to major streaming services including Netflix. Bedrooms and the bathroom are upstairs while the living room area and kitchen are down. You'll be able to access the entire unit and are free to use all available amenities, including it's awesome kitchen! You also have access to the blu-ray player and Netflix-connected Apple TV. We do, however, ask that you respect the things you find in drawers and ask before you use items in the kitchen closet, which is where we store extra consumables like coffee pods and waters for future guests. Our son, Christopher Bloodworth, lives a few minutes away and manages our condo for us. He and his wife will do their best to help with anything you might need. Just call, text, or send a message via Airbnb and they’ll respond as soon as they’re able. Otherwise, we'll default to staying out of your way so you can just enjoy the space! Homewood is a fantastic place for those visiting Birmingham, giving relatively quick access to much of the greater Birmingham area. But if you're not interested in going far, we're surrounded by incredible food and shopping options in Downtown Homewood, and we're only a two minute walk away from some of the most celebrated locations in Birmingham, including Escape Day Spa and the nationally recognized Saw's BBQ. There are too many to name them all here, but we'll provide a guide of some of our favorite places that we leave at the condo for guests to look over. Traffic is generally mild except for about 10 minutes at the local school pickup and drop-off times, 8:00am and 2:50pm respectively, so it's unlikely to impact you unless you are arriving or leaving at exactly those times.
