Erw is a detached bungalow that sleeps 6 (4 bedrooms) and is located on a no-through road, 2 minute walk from Llandanwg beach (with beach cafe!). To the front of the property there are magnificent views of the Rhinog mountains. A large lawned front garden, outdoor table and chairs. Round the back of the property is where you can admire the sunsets. Whether a family beach holiday, a relaxing break for two or an adventurous biking, golf or walking holiday, the location suits all. The space Within Snowdonia National Park, Erw is within the hamlet of Llandanwg set on a ⅓ acre plot with gate access from the road and only a 2 minute walk from the beautiful award winning sandy beach with a fabulous Beach Cafe, metres from the beach (coffee roasted here in Llandanwg) offering an array of food and drinks (the best milkshakes). The property has 4 bedrooms; Main bedroom with a kingsize bed, 1 x twin bedroom and 2 x bedrooms with adult bunk beds. Good quality linen and towels provided (NEW from Sept 2025). Black-out lining to curtains in 3 bedrooms which helps with the little ones. Bathroom with basin, bath, electric shower over and a separate loo. Heating is storage heaters with the addition of an ELECTRIC 'log burner' in the sitting room for those chilly evenings. Many board games, puzzles and a toy box to keep everyone busy and away from screens! Kitchen is well stocked with everything you would need, including children's bowls, plates and cutlery (high chair and Stokke Tripp Trapp children's chair also available). Double electric fan oven, induction hob (NEW Sept 2025), fridge/freezer, washing machine, microwave, Krups coffee maker (takes Nespresso compatible pods). Basics such as salt and pepper, oil etc are supplied. Breakfast table comfortably seats 6 with glorious views across the mountains at the front of the property. Plenty of comfortable seating in the sitting room, modern smart TV so you can log into your own Netflix, Prime etc. accounts plus a DVD player. We have a separate cabin with beach equipment, beach toys and a useful place to dry off wet clothes/boots and dogs!! Dogs welcome (2 max) but please NOTE that the front wall is only 2 ft in places, back fence 3 ft. Guest access Full access of property plus one garage for your use with beach equipment etc. Other things to note In addition there are lots of good quality restaurants opening up every year in the area from fine dining to fish & chips with deep fried halloumi! Here is just a handful of what else is on offer in the surrounding area: Just 200 yards from the award winning Llandanwg beach Fantastic walking, mountain and road biking area (bikes available to hire nearby) For the little ones there is a Children's Farm Park and Play Barn up the road in Llanfair, with plenty of activities Mountain biking at nearby Coed-Y-Brenin Forest, Dolgellau (35 mins drive away) Childrens farm in Llanfair (one mile away), inc. bottle/hand feeding the animals, junior tractors, indoor soft play area and sand pit, crazy golf, café/picnic area, nature trail Snowdon only 50 mins away Fantastic Link Golf Courses including Royal St David's in Harlech Portmeirion village Longest zip-wire in Europe, Nr Llanberis (1 mile long, reaching speeds of 100mph!) Quad biking / Paint balling Trampolining challenge 250ft underground in an unused slate mine in Ffestiniog Harlech nearby with castle, groceries, coffee shops/restaurants and four miles of sandy beach Barmouth, with a bustling town in the summer months, promenade next to beach with fair and arcades etc. Eat your Fish and chips whilst sitting on the harbour wall...
