Cosy cottage with mountain views near Zip-World.

This is our family holiday cottage in Blaenau-Ffestiniog. Walking distance to Zip World, Bounce below and Llechwedd slate caverns. Blaenau-Ffestiniog is ideally located to explore Snowdonia National park. Approx. 10 miles to great beaches (Porthmadog, Harlech) and other picturesque towns such as Betws-y-Coed and Beddgelert. Catch the historic Ffestiniog railway to Porthmadog or explore Portmeirion village. The space Our 3 bedroom cottage is situated over 3 floors and has a garden overlooking the historic slate hills. Our cottage has an open plan living room and kitchen with small dining area in the kitchen. The kitchen has cooker, microwave, air fryer, fridge/freezer and coffee making facilities. The living area has a log burner, comfortable corner sofa/armchair and TV with Free-sat. In addition we have a Nintendo Wii and Amazon Fire-stick with Amazon Prime, Netflix and Disney Plus. Upstairs there is a good sized double bedroom with storage and the second bedroom with bunkbed. We also have a good quality folding bed that will happily fit in either bedroom. The family bathroom is upstairs and has a newly fitted suite with bath and shower. We also have a lower ground floor which has lower ceiling heights but great light coming in from the garden. This bedroom has a good sized double bed. This bedroom also has a DVD player. This room is compact, but is a very comfortable space. In the lower ground area there is a washing machine, tumble dryer and access to the rear garden. We have high speed internet/Wi-Fi, plus there is a very good mobile phone signal and data available on most networks. The entire cottage is central heated, which along with the log burner makes a very warm cottage. The cottage is positioned on the road to Zip-world and overlooks a historic slate hillside to the front. Parking is available on the street but we prefer to park at the rear of the cottage (communal parking). The garden overlooks some beautiful scenery included an old slate mountain with some wonderful walks right on your doorstep. There is a small seating area. The cottage comes with freshly made beds and laundered towels. Tea, coffee, sugar are included as are a few logs to get the log burner going. Washing up liquid, cloths, tea towels and other basics are included. Guest access Entire house Other things to note Access to the garage/workshop for storage sports equipment etc can be requested.
