Branxholme Castle (East Wing Cottage)

The historic Branxholme Castle which originates back to the 14th century. The Castle is situated in the beautiful Scottish Borders just outside Hawick. The property comprises of 2 Holiday Cottages, bed & breakfast Coffee Shop and Spa. We also cater for weddings and events. EAST WING COTTAGE IS A4 BEDROOM COTTAGE THAT SLEEPS 8 GUESTS, HOWEVER WE CAN ALSO CATER FOR 4 GUESTS AT A REDUCED COST. PLEASE CONTACT US THROUGH AIRBNB AND WE CAN ADJUST YOUR BOOKING. The space The Castle is situated 3 miles south of Hawick. The East Wing Cottage is made up of three double and one large king bedroom, Large kitchen/lounge with log burner, snug area, shower room, bathroom and a wee down stairs toilet. Guests will also have access to their own garden with private parking, bbq (coal and light fuel to be provided by guests) hot tub and summer house as well as a 12th century tower with a pool table and darts board. You can also enjoy the beautiful Scottish countryside with some amazing walks, cycling routes, golf, horse riding and fishing. Within driving distance there are many lovely local towns and villages that offer great places to eat, drink and shop. We are also an events and wedding venue. We can provide our clients with bespoke packages to suite their requirements. We can also provide additional (bed & breakfast) accommodation. The Orangery (coffee shop) is open Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays. We offer light lunches, afternoon teas and a wonderful selection of cakes . Our boutique spa opened on the 10th on the of November 2022 on a Thursday, Friday and Saturday. We offer an am and pm package at £98 per person for a maximum of 6 guests at any time. The price includes: 1 1/2 hour treatment, choose from Full body massage, Back neck & shoulders massage, Facials, Pedicures and Manicures. Am Brunch or Pm Afternoon Teas Use of steam room Hot tub and Lounge area Booking must be made in advance of arrival. Guest access The Eastwing Cottage is completely private and guest are the only people who have access when staying. Other things to note WFI Can be slow, this is down to the area we are in. Bring flip flops for the hot tub area :-) Please bring your own towels to be used when in the "Hot Tub) There is a charge of £1 per game for our pool table in the games room.
