Quiet Studio, sea views, pool, 5 minutes to beach!

Relax in the rural/seaside setting of our bright, cosy studio apartment with sea view. Breakfast on the terrace, head to the pool or sea (5 minutues walk), explore, swim, golf, do watersports or relax and return to watch the sunset and moonrise over the bay. Set in a fishing village, there are no shops, restaurants, bars, businesses or buses to spoil the peace so you WILL need a car. Gran Tarajal, the neighbouring provincial town is just a short drive away and can cater for most needs. The space THE SPACE Known as Studio Helen, on the first floor, this studio is open plan, sleeps 2 (or 4 including sofa), has a magnificent view of the sea, with access to a pool and is only 5 minutes from the beach. SETTING On the south side of the island between Gran Tarajal and Tarajalejo, the small quiet fishing village of Giniginamar is a jewel of white houses set on a black sandy beach under an azure blue sky!! Get away from it all here where there is no mass tourism, no high rises, or noisy beach bars to disturb the peace and quiet of this tranquil setting. What you DO get is the best of the island - unspoilt stretches of beach and countryside, magnificent views, friendly locals and clear water. THE BEACH You can see it from the window or terrace and it´s only 5 minutes walk away. Black volcanic sand/pebble, it is generally uncrowded. Fishing from the beach or cliffs is also recommended by my previous guests! THE STUDIO Compact and well designed, the open plan layout of the studio makes it light and airy. The sleeping area with two single beds is screened from the living area by a half height wall for privacy and there is a separate bathroom (with bath, bidet, WC). The "American" kitchen has fridge, kettle, toaster and a two ring electric hob. We provide fresh towels and sheets every week DVD player INTERNET: Free wifi, unlimited suitable for streaming video TV We provide a TV system as a free extra, but most guests will have a better experience bringing their own digital files on USB devices or a tablet/laptop on which you can stream the content you choose. This is recommended. The system we have : Digital Spanish TV which also sometimes offers films in English. Satellite TV with many German channels and lots of international music channels (TV and radio) NO SHOPS/RESTAURANTS/BARS There are no facilities in the village for shopping., eating or drinking currently - which is the price you pay for a quiet environment but in Gran Tarajal, the next village along, you can find all the supermarkets and shops for anything you might need. For this reason we recommend guests to hire a car, so that they are independent and can take advantage of what the island has to offer. PARKING Easy parking on quiet street outside. THE ISLAND The Canary islands are known for their fantastic year round climate and Fuerteventura has an interesting culture to explore, incredible volcanic scenery, is great for hiking and known for its watersports (especially windsurfing), golf and naturist beaches for the so-inclined. FURTHER INFO: There is a cleaning fee of 40 Euros per booking. Pets are not allowed, sorry (rules of the owners´ association). More than 4 of you? Guest access The entire studio apartment is exclusively for your use. Living/sleeping area, terrace, kitchen area and bathroom. The communal pool is available for your (shared) use. Other things to note A rental car is essential. See getting around. We don't check you in personally - you have the freedom to arrive as you wish.
