Murdeira beach : All Year round Sun !! The space Cape Verde is the nearest holiday destination from europe, where a delightful temperature of min. 25° C would expect and this throughout the year. For those of you who love a short or a long stay and not in a hotel with all-in formula, there are apartments to rent on interesting conditions, namely on the island of Sal in the since 1998 newly built village of Murdeira. This village is built around the “Bay of Murdeira”, right by the sea. The village sits in the center of a small cove beach inside the much larger Murdeira Bay (Baía de Murdeira), which is known for its rich sea life and a small coral reef. The bay is a marine reserve which forms a part of a reserve that includes Ilhéu Rabo de Junco. Humpback whales visits the bay for its mating season each year. The apartments are suitable for 2 guests and there is every western comfort. There is a seating/dining area with fitted kitchen and a TV with Blueray/DVD-player, a bedroom with 1 double bed (2 apartments with 2 single beds) and with a safe, bathroom with shower, washing machine etc. The apartments are equipped with Wi-Fi and digital satellite TV. The apartments are very centrally located, close to the bay, swimming pool, the poolside (snack)bar, the restaurant and the mini-mercado. There is public transport with mini-vans (Aluguer). For 1 euro you can go to the most touristic town of Santa Maria in 7 minutes or to the commercial town of Espargos in 5 minutes. Also the taxi getting there is affordable : 5 or 6 euro to any destination. The energy and water consumption costs are included. The swimming pool and the beautiful and calm Murdeira Bay are available for all your swimming and water activities. As the infrastructure on Sal tries to adapt to the increasing number of visitors, there are sometimes electricity and or water cutouts all over the island ranging from 15 min to half a day. We provide water reserves for washing during these cutouts. We advise you to keep your devices regularly charged. IMPORTANT: The tourist visa for Cape Verde can be purchased directly at any airport in Cape Verde at a price of 25 euros and is valid up to 1 month. If you want to stay longer you need to get a tourist visa at your nearest Cape Verdean Embassy. Other things to note Me and my wife stay from Oktober till April also in our place in Murdeira at only a 5 minute walk from the apartments. So i am available if needed.
