This cozy little nest will allow you to relax after a hectic day in Paris most famous neighborhood The space THE ROOM & THE APARTMENT:On the 5th floor, the apartment is well lit. The wood floor is typical of the Parisian 1920s. Your room is fully furnished with a very comfortable single bed, a desk with complementary Wifi access, a huge library full of books (art, French and international literature, etc). It is part of a 3 bedroom appartment (361 sqf in total) with casual and elegant French Country style furniture. The shared bathroom includes an Italian style shower and breathtaking shower system with its 6 adjustable body spray which provide top of the art massaging features, the Raindances overhead shower provides relaxing wellness. Showers are from 7:30 am untill 22:00 (one a day). A towel warmer will add to this wellness. The restroom is separate. The piano may not be tuned yearly. 99% of our guests go to nearby restaurant, we would be happy to share our family kitchen with you. Also, bear in mind that it a room where our family lives, eat and discuss, so it might not be always 100% tidy. Thank you. You can use the kitchen’s fridge and microwave for warming up some meals between 8:00 am and 22:30pm (please, respect our family's privacy, by avoiding coming during our meals). No locked doors within the appartment. For travelers staying 2 days or more, a washing machine is available (14€ per load). Free Wifi, bed linen, hair dryer and towels are provided. The breakfast is available around the corner. It is a non smoking place. A PERFECT PLACE TO ENJOY PARIS: The appartement is ideally located for gourmets travelers : the rue du Commerce is packed with traditional food stores (wine shop, dairy shop, butcher, grocery). A typical market and a lot of bakeries are in less than 200 meters of the apartment. Also, the rue Cler with its vibrant street vendors epitomizes the French Joie de vivre (10 mns walk). It is a small street food market with the renowned Le Nôtre pastries store, antique shops, bakeries, gourmet food stores, clothing shops and much more. The neighborhood has many nice restaurants.This is definitively a perfect place to enjoy Paris. TIPS TO MAKE THE MOST OF YOUR STAY:My husband, a certified conference speaker, will give you sound advices on how to make the most of your stay, should you prefer art museums, walking tours, cooking classes, art galleries, antics, garden, fashion and luxury, the French “art de la table”, etc. He has them all. We speak French, English, German, Spanish and some Mandarin.If you are interested in sports, the room is close to « Roland Garros » and to the starting line of the famous « Marathon de Paris ». The Roissy Charles De Gaulle airport is approximately 1 hour away in metro and 50 mns with a taxi. The Orly airport is appriximately 45 min away with the metro and 35 mins with a taxi.
