Sunny, cozy & in the heart of Sonthofen/Oberallgäu

Welcome! The apartment with living-bedroom offers space for solo travelers, couples or a small family. The Allgäu High Alps, cycling and hiking trails, ski lift, toboggan run, swimming lakes and much more are quickly reached. Numerous shopping and dining options are within walking distance of the apartment. Train station, bus stop and bike rental in the immediate vicinity as well as the underground parking space (only small cars, see 'Guest access') simplify the stay. The space Sonthofen is the southernmost city in Germany with around 20,000 inhabitants. Due to the location, numerous excursions to various valleys, mountains and lakes can be undertaken on foot, by bike/e-bike, car or also by bus/train (free of charge for you). We are happy to give tips. The apartment is centrally located in a side street of the Sonthof pedestrian zone in an apartment building on the 2nd floor. - Train station: 5-10 minutes' walk, - Bus and train travel free of charge with Allgäu-Walser-Pass (access is available here before arrival), - Numerous shopping opportunities within 2-5 minutes After your tour, you will find board games, smart TV, tea & a first coffee as well as the hand-planed "foot flatterer" wooden floor to feel good. Fridge with freezer, dishwasher, induction stove, toaster and a small basic kitchen equipment (oil, salt & pepper, dishwasher, dish towels, etc.) contribute to comfort. There is no oven. You can prepare your coffee with a coffee pad machine or a Bialetti espresso maker. Bed linen and towels provided. You can sleep on a double bed (1.60 m wide) and, if necessary, on a sofa bed (80 cm wide). With roller blinds, the apartment can be almost completely darkened. The apartment has a French balcony. On the side there is a small seat with a chair. A self-service laundry with washing machine and dryer is around the corner (detergent can be found in the apartment). If necessary, a baby extra bed (babybay) or a travel bed (Babybjörn), a high chair, a children's step, a baby carrier, toys, etc. can be provided. Please let us know what you need or how old your child is. Nearest ski resorts / cable cars are * Ofterschwang/Gunzesried (about 15 minutes by car) * Nebelhorn in Oberstdorf (about 20-25 minutes by car) * ... Fellhorn/Kanzelwand, Söllereck, Ifen, Grasgehren & Oberjoch Guest access *Parking/underground parking* The apartment has an underground parking space. This can accommodate cars with a height of about 1.45/1.50 m and a length of max. 4.90 m (because of duplex parking space, car elevator). It is best to check the vehicle registration in advance. Otherwise, there are paid parking spaces around the apartment (€1 per hour / max. 3 hours, Sundays and between 7 pm - 8 am free of charge). For example, Hirschstr. or Bräumarkt; you can also park in the Marktanger municipal underground car park (Mühlenweg 8, 5 minutes' walk) for a fee (but it is closed until the end of 2026). *Basement compartment* In the lockable basement room, skis or bicycles will find a dry place. Sleds are also available for you to borrow. Other things to note In Sonthofen there is a tourist tax of 3.20 euros per person per night (children from 6 years: 1.60 euros). This is left in the apartment after the stay, we will then forward it. There are also neighbors in the house - not surprisingly ;-) - whom we ask you to be considerate of. However, they are all open-minded, nice and sociable.
