Le Marronnier, one of the 4 authentic cottages which are part of the Mansion + charming cottages, Le Nid des Oiseaux, a former 15-16th century manor house, located in this beautiful village called Cubjac Auvézère Val d'Ans with its medieval bridge of the Auvezère river + beach. This beautiful cottage with its authentic elements is nicely decorated and has its royal entrance on the garden side with its century-old trees. The entrance to the domain is by the little iron gate next to the big gate The space This ''Maison de Maître'' was built in the 15-16th century. It has authentic elements like stone and wooden staircases and floors, royal entries, several chimneys, 3 meter high ceilings etc. This domain has also an outbuilding, a courtyard and garden with centuries old trees and is surrounded by a stonebuilt wall. This garden where you find lazy chairs and dining tables with chairs and a barbecue, where you can prepare your food or just profit of the moment in this lovely garden to read a book or just relax with a nice glas of beautiful wine, this land has to offer. The cottage the Marronnier has its entrance at the garden side. At the entrance of the cottage on the groundfloor, you find the first bedroom with wooden floor with a 2 persons bed. A beautiful wooden staircase leads you to the first floor where you find the open kitchen/dining/salon area. The kitchen is fully equiped, with oven, micro-wave, 4pl.induction cooker, hob, fridge and coffee-machine, coffee grinder, mixer, blender, plates and more. The living/salon-area has a confortable(sleeping)couch and meridienne( one person couch).The second bedroom has one 2 personsbed. Next to this bedroom you'll find the bathroom, with shower, handwashbassin and toilet. In the village near the bridge is a little beach where you can swimm in the river, or go fishing or biking just around the corner. In the village you will find a backery, a boutcher who comes a copple of times on the marquet squaire, a bar, a doctor, a pharmacist and fysotherapist and dentist. On friday morning there is a local market to buy the products of the region. During the summer period there are a lot of villages where evening "eating parties" are organised on the squaires. You can buy the local products which can be prepared for you on the marquet and you take place at the long tables to taste this delicious food. Other things to note Please treat the cottage as if it is yours.
