Steamers Barn - Entire Space Fantastic Location

Steamers Barn is situated in a quiet, rural location, wonderfully positioned for exploring Cornwall. It is also conveniently located with easy access from the A30 and which is the main road into Cornwall. Only 5 miles to Truro and within easy reach of the beautiful North and South Coast beaches. There are many walks and attractions close by, including Healy’s Cyder Farm, Callestick Ice Cream, The Eden Project and The Camel Trail to name a few. The space Steamers Barn will be entirely your space, during your holiday. With plenty of room to park a car, by the property. Private entrance (via key safe), into ground floor entrance hall with utility room, stairs to first floor with a large kitchen/living area on the left and the 2 bedrooms and a shower room on the right. Guests will enjoy the quiet tranquillity of the stream that runs by their outside area. Each year we strive to improve upon the experience offered to our guests. This year 2025 we have a brand new chaise sofa in the living room. Recently we have updated the master bedroom with a new king size bed, complete with a Hypnos mattress and a large comfortable headboard. There is also a new flat screen smart tv in the master bedroom. There is also a newly landscaped large raised grassed area entirely for guest use. EV charging point is available at additional charge. Please message for further details information. Please Note: Usually bookings during peak periods - July, August and school holidays are minimum 7 night only, Saturday check-in/out. Guest access There is a private patio/BBQ area and a raised lawn which is exclusively for our guests. The fields surrounding Steamers Barn often have cows grazing, for wildlife enthusiasts we also regularly spot deer, badgers and owls. In the photographs of the Barn, please note that the garage and workshop are not for guest use. Other things to note Occasionally we have landscaping work happening, therefore, please keep an eye on young children. SAFETY There is a stair gate fitted at the top of the staircase, it is your responsibility to use it, especially when travelling with young children. There is a high chair for guest use, if required please let me know in advance. Please note: Steamers Barn does take young children and infants, but there are no child safety locks on any of the cupboards, therefore, it is your responsibility to supervise our younger guests. WOOD BURNER For your safety - we do have a fire guard that can be used by any guests using the wood burner. The guard fits into the wall brackets, if you have any problems we are happy to come and put it in place. Also, the wood burner is an additional heating source, there are radiators in the bedrooms and the shower room, underfloor heating in the main kitchen/living room. We do ask that you only use the logs supplied by us for the wood burner, please note: there will be a small charge for these.
